The Anti-Discrimination Commission Queensland was established in 1991 by an Act of the Queensland Parliament. It is an independent statutory body headed by the Anti-Discrimination Commissioner.
The work of the Commission fits within the framework of established international human rights instruments, and our vision is for a fair and inclusive Queensland.
The Commission has a responsibility under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 to promote the understanding, acceptance and public discussion of human rights in this state.
We provide the following services:
