The Claremont Bowls & Community Club is situated in the Northern Suburbs of Hobart on the Cadbury estate, right alongside the Cadbury Chocolate Factory and Golf Course. With views across the Derwent River it’s a great place to enjoy a great game of Lawn Bowls and the hospitality of members and guests. If your a complete newcomer to lawn bowls and/or your looking for a sporting activity that isn’t too physically demanding but promises fun and a competitive element, lawn bowls may be exactly what your looking for and the Claremont Bowls & Community Club will provide a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to all. The Claremont Bowls & Community Club has two (2) greens. The “Top Green” is a Synthetic green (installed Aug/Sep 2024) and looks terrific. The “Bottom Green” will remain as a traditional grass green that we at the club believe is the best grass green in the South and likely in the state due to the magnificent work put in by our green keeper, Kim Rainbird.
