Do I need a referral to make an appointment?
Most medical specialists will accept only referred patients. This is partly to try to ensure that the specialist you are seeing is appropriate for you and your condition.
What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Doctor's letter/referral, Health insurance details, Medicare card, other entitlement cards, any payment due on the day (Please note, payments made by credit card may incur a surcharge). Please do not bring any valuables with you; Melbourne Endoscopy does not accept liability for loss or damage of personal property.
How long will I be at Melbourne Endoscopy?
On average you will be at our centre for approximately two hours; it is advised that you ask our reception staff when you book in, as they may be able to give you a better approximation.
