Steve strives for perfection in all areas of dentistry, and leads his team through example by making sure all patients are comfortable and receive the highest quality treatment every time. Steve’s dedication to excellence shows in his clinical skills, while his empathy and attention to his patient’s needs are at the forefront of his work. He enjoys the variety that general dentistry brings, with particular interests in crowns and bridges, implant restorations, Invisalign orthodontics and sleep dentistry.
Raised in Canberra, Steve attended Marist College and subsequently Canberra Grammar School. After obtaining his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with First Class Honours at the University of Sydney, he returned to Canberra and joined Preventive Dentistry in 1997. In 1999, Steve took over from Dr Noel Egan to lead the Preventive Dentistry team.
Steve is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the ACT Dental Group. He has served on the ADA ACT Division committee, was Treasurer from 1999 to 2002, and President from 2003 to 2006. In 2005, Steve was appointed by examination as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
