About Us
Since its inception in 1991, Noosa & District Landcare Group has been operating as a community non-for-profit organisation supporting the restoration of the Noosa and surrounding regions. Unlike many traditional landcare groups, our business model has evolved so that we can provide a range of professional, fee-for-service work and project delivery that supports our community engagement and investment. Which means, you can be sure that your dollar is not only getting the vital work done but is also educating a new generation of landcarers at the same time.
With over 30 years’ experience in vegetation management and horticulture, we provide a diverse range of services including carbon and environmental offsets, ecosystem restoration, vegetation management, environmental consultancy, training and education, and native plant production.
Whilst operating primarily at a grass roots level, Noosa & District Landcare also contributes at a strategic planning level on matters of state and national significance.
