About Us

For over 100 years the Woy Woy Peninsula has been one of the most popular retirement areas in New South Wales, though for most of that times there were no specifically built facilities to care for senior residents.

In 1975 a group was formed as a select committee of the Umina Beach Combines Pensioners Association to investigate the establishment of an Aged Care Centre on the Peninsula, with a particular focus on providing a nursing home.

Established over 30 years ago, Peninsula Village has grown from a small facility offering accommodation to just 42 local residents to one of the Central Coasts largest and most successful retirement centres.
