At Preventive Dentistry we always aim to deliver the highest standard of dental treatment, and we promise to give you honest and straightforward advice. It is our approach to provide you with treatment we would feel comfortable providing to our own families.
To ensure that we are at the forefront of our profession, our staff regularly attend continuing education courses to keep abreast of the latest theories and techniques.
Preventive Dentistry has been serving Canberra since 1963, when it was established by Dr Noel Egan whose preventive approach to dental care was ahead of its time. He was the first dentist in the ACT to employ a dental hygienist, and was instrumental in the recognition and registration of Dental Hygiene as a profession.
The practice has employed many excellent clinicians over the years, and some have formed their own practices while others have continued on to become dental specialists.
Over the years Preventive Dentistry has grown to keep up with the demand for our services. In 2016 we moved from Turner to Braddon, allowing us to increase the number of treatment rooms and utilise newer technology and equipment, whilst providing our patients and staff with more comfortable surroundings.
