Victoria’s road safety camera network is one of the many enforcement strategies used to make our roads safer, helping to change driver behaviour and holding dangerous drivers to account.
The Road Safety Camera Commissioner plays an essential role in providing the community with confidence that Victoria’s road safety camera network is operating with accuracy, integrity and efficiency.
Mr Stephen Leane was appointed to the role of Victoria’s Road Safety Camera Commissioner from 9 December 2019.
