We have 25 staff including three sales representatives based in our Hobart& Launceston branches, internal sales staff, accounts personnel, warehouse staff and fitters to repair and add onto the equipment we sell.

Our warehouse showrooms are located at 1 Lampton Avenue Derwent Park, and 277-279 Invernay Road, Invermay and has 2000m² of floor space.

We service the aquaculture, mining, forestry, transport, rural and food industries, as well as government departments  with an extensive range of quality products – browse our menu for more information.

Our prices are competitive and we can supply customers nationally.

Our internal sales staff and 4 fitters do the servicing and repairs on the lifting equipment that we sell.

LIFTING EQUIPMENT - SALES & SERVICING

Tas Lifting Sales & Servicing have a skilled staff of 16.

We service the state of Tasmania with 3 sales representatives, 2 based in Hobart to service the South and the East Coast. The sales rep in Launceston services Launceston, the West Coast, North-West and Northern Tasmania.

Our large stockholding in Derwent Park offers same day and overnight deliveries statewide.

We can deliver to you anywhere at a competitive price.

Our internal sales force have the backup of 4 fitters who do both on site and workshop repairs and fitting.

We service what we sell with onsite and mobile testing for electric hoists certification/reporting of lifting gear and registering of your equipment repairs and replacements.

Our skilled staff offer hoist servicing statewide for Kito hoists and other brands.

We swage wire rope, black, galvanised, and stainless steel with our Taluritpress and the latest roll swager.

Large stocks of all lifting equipment are available from pallet trucks, wire rope, swaging tools, chain and lever blocks, to yacht rigging fittings, roof safety systems & inspection. Brierley Hose and Handling started in1986 in Hobart Tasmania. It is a P/L business with two Tasmanian directors –John and Sue Brierley.

Tas Lifting is a proud member of the international Lifting Equipment Engineer sAssociation (LEEA), the professional accreditation body and leading authority on safe and legal overhead lifting.

All technicians certified by the LEEA must pass rigorous training courses and thorough technical audits.
