About Us
Tillys Play and Development Centres are privately owned child care centres owned and operated by Ron and Donna MacIntyre and their family. Donna and Ron MacIntyre currently own and operate Long Day Care Centres at Abermain, Bolwarra, Cardiff, Chisholm, Cooranbong, East Maitland, Gillieston Heights, Greta, Fern Bay, Rutherford and two at Waratah. Two more centres are currently in production at Kurri Kurri and The Junction. Donna and Ron have also previously owned centres at Largs, Dungog, Mannering Park, Tamworth, Singleton and Muswellbrook.
All our centres are Long Day Care Centres, open between 49 and 51 weeks of the year (except Public Holidays) with operating hours varying from 6.00am to 6.30pm.
Tillys caters for children between the ages of 0-12 years and are approved for between 28 and 174 children a day. Our centres at Greta, Bolwarra, Chisholm, Cooranbong, Gillieston Heights and Rutherford have separate OOSH facilities for between 30 and 60 children for before and after school care, and vacation care during the school holidays.

What We Do
At Tillys Play and Development Centres our programs focus on the holistic development of each child as an individual. We believe that each area of development affects another and as such no one area is more or less important than another. These areas include your child’s emotional development, social skills and confidence, their talking and listening skills, their fine and gross motor skills and their concentration, problem solving and thinking skills. These are the skills essential for a positive childhood and transition to school.
